Ranunculus Asiaticus

While the gardens are definitely filling in with color, the star flower this week is Ranunculus asiaticus, also known at the Persian buttercup. In terms of variety of color, it really stands out at the moment.

I think most vendors and farmers would agree that the first Taos Farmers Market of the 2026 season was a success. It certainly was for us. Thanks to all who showed up. If you didn’t make it, you still have 25 more Saturdays to get there.

This coming Saturday (May 23), you’ll see more peonies, lupines, delphinium, anemone, larkspur, allium, and the spring’s first snap dragons. Hope to see you there.
